dVault Terms of Service

This Terms of Service Agreement (“Agreement”) acts as a legally binding contract between the customer (“Customer”) and dVault (“Company”.) Customer signifies their acceptance of this Agreement by using www.dVault.com (“Site”), by ordering products either directly from dVault, through this Site, or one of our recognized resellers, or by engaging with dVault’s media outreach, including marketing materials, social media, opt-in emails, contests, or submitting photos or reviews.


This Agreement may be modified by dVault at any time and without prior notice. Customer is responsible for reviewing this page periodically and abiding by any changes that have been made to the Terms of Service.

Use of Content

All content the Customer sees or reads on this Site (with the exception of User Generated Content, as defined below) is subject to copyright or other intellectual property rights owned by dVault. Customer is allowed to download material from this Site for personal, noncommercial use only, but must retain any copyright or other proprietary notices (such as watermarks) contained on the materials. Customer must obtain written permission from dVault via formal written request, prior to using any content of this Site, including images and text, for public or commercial purposes. This use includes copying, reproducing, scraping, distributing, modifying, transmitting, or reusing Site materials.

Proper Use of Site

Customer may not use this Site, or any content gathered from it (with or without permission) for any illegal or unauthorized purposes. Customer is solely responsible for all submissions, comments, or posts Customer makes on this Site, or to any media or social media properties owned or maintained by dVault. Any harassment, abusive language, libel, obscenities, or other inappropriate behavior or language, as determined at the sole discretion of dVault, is in violation of this Agreement. While dVault is not responsible for monitoring User Generated submissions submitted to this Site, dVault reserves the right to monitor and remove any content at any time and block any customer from further posting on our media properties, or submitting to this Site.

User Generated Content

dVault values our relationship with our Customers and the users of this Site, and reserves the right to display User Generated Content. Any communication or material Customer transmits to dVault by email, internet, phone, or otherwise shall be treated as non-confidential and nonproprietary. Customer comments, reviews, photographs, ideas, installation techniques, or other submissions shall be and remain the property of the Company. Customer assigns all property rights for any submission to dVault for unlimited use, commercial or otherwise. dVault is under no obligation to maintain any submissions in private, pay Customer any compensation for submissions, or respond to any submissions. By making a submission, Customer grants dVault non-exclusive, sub-licensable, irrevocable, transferable, royalty-free license under all intellectual property laws to use, reproduce, disclose, transmit, publish, broadcast, edit, and post Customer’s materials.

Customer Reviews and Photo Contest

dVault offers Customers the opportunity to submit photos, reviews, and testimonials of their dVault purchases, as part of an ongoing. rolling “Share and Win” contest. A prize of a $100 Amazon gift card will be awarded quarterly by email to the winning entry from submissions received during that quarter’s contest period. The winning entry will be selected by dVault staff based on criteria determined solely at their discretion. Customers may not reapply or submit a new entry to the contest in consecutive quarters. After waiting for 1 quarter cycle (91-180 days,) Customer is welcome to participate in another round of the contest by submitting a new photo and testimonial for consideration. dVault reserves the right to end the contest, change the prize to be awarded, or disqualify participants for inappropriate submission at any time.

Notice and Privacy Policies

dVault highly values our Customer’s privacy. This Site uses security measures to protect Customer’s personally identifiable information. We do not sell or trade personally identifiable information to any third parties. However, this information, as provided by Customer through this Site or other means, is transfered to various shipping carriers specifically for delivery of purchased Product to Customer. dVault also has visibility of Customer name, address, and phone number as provided by Customer to our authorized resellers, for the purchase and delivery of our Products. This information is used by dVault primarily for shipping and warranty purposes. dVault reserves the right to contact Customer by means of phone, postal mail, electronic mail, Site notifications, instant message, social media platforms, or other means, using the contact information Customer has provided to dVault or our authorized resellers for any reason. All payment information is processed by contracted third parties. No Customer payment information is retained by dVault.


dVault uses cookies to provide customers the best Site experience possible. Cookies are small data files transferred to Customer’s computer via Customer’s web browser. Customers have the right to disallow cookies on their computer by disabling cookies on their browser, and/or visiting this Site anonymously.
By using this Site or dVault’s other media properties, Customer agrees to dVaults’ use of data collection and analytical tracking software (cookies,) unless specifically disabled. Optional uses of cookies by dVault (sample): improve user experience; enable Site to recognize Customer’s browser and capture certain information, including Customer preferences, based on past or present usage of this Site; and compile aggregate data about Site traffic and usage. dVault may also use data collected for advertising purposes via third party providers, including, but not limited to Google and Facebook.

Third Party Links

dVault may promote or provide links to outside third parties and authorized resellers. By linking to a page belonging to a third party, Customer assumes responsibility for any associated risks. The third party’s own terms of service and privacy policies will govern Customer’s usage of their pages. dVault is not responsible for any loss or damages resulting from any dealings with third parties, including dVault’s affiliates, resellers, or third party shipping carriers.

Returns and Exchanges

In summary, to return Products within thirty (30) days after purchase, first contact dVault at 719.955.2698 for pre-approval and shipping instructions. To receive a refund, exchange, or store credit, Product must be in original packaging and shipped at Customer’s expense. The returned item must be unused, complete with all original parts, and arrive undamaged. All refunds will be issued by dVault or the reseller in the original form of payment used for purchase and are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
If Product arrives damaged, please contact dVault customer service at 719.955.2698 within seven (7) days of receipt maximum for pre-approval to return the product. Photographs of damage will be required for pre-approval. Returned goods must be shipped freight prepaid to the dVault factory in their original shipping packaging. If the Product is determined to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced at dVault’s option.

Customer’s Own Shipper

dVault expressly disclaims any responsibility for damage caused to Product by anyone other than a shipping company chosen, arranged, and paid for by dVault, including but not limited to shipping companies arranged and paid for by Customer or Customer’s representative, or items picked up directly by Customer. In the case of damage to dVault’s Product caused by Customer or Customer shipper, the Product warranty shall be void and Customer must file any and all damage claims with Customer shipping company and/or insurance company. At dVault’s sole discretion, dVault shall provide parts or replace the damaged products at a fair and reasonable cost as determined by dVault.

International Shipping

dVault.com currently ships Product within the continental United States. The dVault customer service team can direct Customers to authorized resellers who also ship to HI, AK, the US territories, and Canada. All prices on the Site are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Warranty Policy

dVault offers a five (5) year limited warranty on all dVault Products to the original owner (with proof of purchase.) This warranty covers manufacturing defects and failure of moving parts under normal use. dVault will repair or replace, at our option, any defect in material or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase. Customer must contact dVault customer service at (719) 955-2698 within the warranty period to report any defaults. Photographs will be required to confirm damage.

Warranty Exclusions

Product must be installed and used according to the instructions on the website and/or included with the Product for this warranty to be in force. The warranty excludes deliberate or accidental damage, and does not extend to misuse, finishes, destructive weather conditions, rust, improper installation, or normal wear and tear.
The warranty also excludes any damage incurred to the unit or its contents through any incorrect installation techniques. Incorrectly applying veneer, “bricking in,” or enclosing a unit in such a way that the enclosure itself, or the process of enclosing/installing the unit applies undue pressure to the sides or top of the unit, or to the doors and door mechanisms will void the unit’s warranty. dVault is not responsible for, nor does the warranty cover, the cost of labor, materials, loss of business, or any other costs incurred in the removal, reinstallation, or replacement of the defective unit.
